"Trio Students Exceed College/Career Requirements only through Student Engagement and Innovative Best Practices. This session focuses on six innovative, engaging and research-based best practices to increase math and reading proficiency, college/career readiness, and raise test scores. It provides insight to increase motivation with relevant curriculum. During this session you will submit your requests and participate in continuous polling.
Learning objectives: 1) Demonstrate how to assess and conquer skill gaps in 1/3 the time with five times the accuracy, 2) Discuss how to drastically improve professional development with teacher agency, power standards and relevancy, 3) Assess how to: 1) create student engagement and participation with adaptive curriculum, 2) apply engaged learning by changing a student’s mindset including realizing the relevancy and importance of math, science and reading proficiency, and 3) reboot the intrinsic belief of your students in their ability and need to succeed, and 4) Summarize everything there is to know about the new PSAT/SAT, ACT and GRE exams to reduce text anxiety and re-engage students"
